【劇情】


　　新劇Il Muto首演當日，Carlotta正演唱到此劇中最重要的花腔名曲Poor Fool, He Make Me Laugh 時，被劇院之鬼的聲音打斷，質問大家為什麼沒有幫他保留五號包廂。演啞巴角色的Christine受到驚嚇出了聲音， Carlotta罵著她是青蛙，劇院之鬼聽到後冷笑。這時表演恢復正常，Carlotta重新演唱該曲的花腔，聲音卻只剩下呱呱叫。急的劇院經理立刻終止演出，宣布女主角角色改由Christine擔任，並請舞團先跳後面曲目的舞蹈。結果還沒跳完，一具屍體從天而降，整個劇院一片大亂。
